Tomten Biketown is a fairly new, relatively small shop with a tight crew of experienced bike industry professionals. We cover a very wide range of bicycle types and levels, from kids bikes to very high-end road and mountain bikes. We are looking to add to our service and sales departments with some strong and capable people who are willing to work hard and care immensely about the quality of their output! 

Service Technicians

- Competent and timely bicycle assemblies.

-Efficient and correct completion of repairs and service.

-Regularly interact with customers to diagnose problems and communicate solutions.

-Ability to work openly and positively with management staff and sales personnel.

-Maintain a high standard of quality for both repairs and work area.

 -Excellent mechanical and problem solving skills.

-Previous industry experience a major plus.

-Suspension, disc brake, and Shimano/SRAM electronic systems experience a plus, but will train the right candidate.

-Exceptional attention to detail.

-Weekend availability is required at least in part.

Sales Pros

 -Management of customer interactions and sales floor.

-Opening, closing, restocking and merchandising of the sales floor.

-Ability to work openly and positively with management staff and service personnel.

-Maintain a very high level of customer service.

-Make sales of bicycles, accessories, service packages and more.

 -Excellent interpersonal skills.

-Comfortable working with a wide range of customers.

-Good attention to detail and follow-through.

-Previous bike industry experience a plus, but willing to train the right candidate.

-Bi-lingual a plus.

-Weekend availability is required at least in part.

-Pay commensurate with experience.
